This download will create a new installation of the ESI Computer-scoring Software Version 2009 (ESI 2009) on your computer, network drive, or USB flash Drive.
Please note: This version of ESI 2009 is a major upgrade over the previously released ESI Data Entry Software. Those who have installed
ESI Data Entry Software and/or took an ESI course before April 9, 2010 may follow these instructions to upgrade to ESI 2009.

Detailed Installation Instructions
- When you click the download link above, you will be given a security warning. Click Save.
- Save the file, InstallESI2009.exe, to a location on your computer where you can find it later.
- Run the installer from a computer on which you are the administrator. Please contact your system administration if you have questions about permissions to install programs.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete the installation procedure.
- Select a location from which you will run the program. The default location is C:\ however, the program may be installed
to any directory in which you have full read/write permission.
- Ensure that the box is checked to create a desktop icon.
- Click Finish.
- Launch the ESI software by clicking the desktop icon you created in step 6 above.
- Select your preferred date format and click OK. You may change your date format preferences later to one of three options:
- MM/DD/YYYY (Month / Day / Year)
- DD/MM/YYYY (Day / Month / Year)
- YYYY/MM/DD (Year / Month / Day)
- Enter your name exactly as you would like it to appear on reports.
Enter ESI passcode two times.
KEEP YOUR PASSCODE CONFIDENTIAL
Allowing others to use your passcode is a violation of national and international client confidentiality laws.
- If you have a calibration code, enter it now.
